Internship Program
Interning with H2O is an opportunity to grow spiritually, develop leadership skills, and gain hands-on ministry experience while serving college students. Our internship is between 10–20 hours per week and includes real ministry responsibilities, intentional discipleship, and leadership development. Interns are mentored by staff, involved in student life, and are equipped to live out their calling, whether through a paid or unpaid internship. If you’re prayerfully considering deeper involvement in ministry or just want to serve and grow as a disciple-maker, an H2O internship may be your next step.
Residency Program
Explore your calling to collegiate ministry and see what it looks like to be on staff here at H2O Church in Bowling Green. The two-year residency program is designed to train leaders for a lifetime of ministry whether that is in vocational ministry or in the workforce. We want to be a sending church, which means we send out our very best church plants, world missions, or wherever else God is calling you.
A Typical Week as a Resident:
15 Hours - Specific Ministry Area
8 Hours - Life Group & Discipleship
7 Hours - Theological Equipping
5 Hours - Administrative Tasks
5 Hours - Events/Flexibility
Timeline for Paid Internship/Residency:
February 15th: Applications are due for Fall 2026 Internships and Residency.
March 15th: You will know if you are accepted/hired.
May 1st & 2nd: You will attend support raising training through Reliant.
Timeline for Unpaid Internship:
April 24th: Applications are due for unpaid Fall 2026 Internships.
